Welcome home to Holy Trinity Community Church!
Holy Trinity has a profound impact in our community. Why? Together we create safe places for ALL, a safe harbor in the storm's life will throw our way, a compassionate and understanding ear to bend when you have nowhere else to turn. We do good work. I want you to know that we make a difference in ways "great and small." We proclaim the gospel of love for all that shakes prisons, breaks chains, and saves lives.
Every time I talk to a parent about their teenager who has just come out of the closet, I am so grateful for our ministry and my role as pastor and teacher.
Every time a person I do not know reaches out to ask for prayer because they feel the need for prayer and know that we will honor who they are and whom they love, I am so grateful for our ministry and my role as pastor and teacher.
Every time I am able to help people find their families by choice and chance and see how these new bonds bring about new life, I am so grateful for our ministry and my role as pastor and teacher.
Every time we are able to offer someone some food to eat, maybe a little bit of gas money, a prescription copay, a bus pass, I am so grateful for our ministry and my role as pastor and teacher.
You see, as your pastor and teacher I hold the honor of being the person at the "end of the line" of our grace and mercy. What I am able to do as a representative of the church I serve, and all of you as members, is but one part of a greater chain of events.
Every family found at Holy Trinity, every tithe and offering freely given, every loving, hope-filled, joyous, and peaceful moment shared between us is a movement of the Holy Spirit. The movement of the Spirit forms us, shapes us as a disciples of Christ. Defines us as a church. The Holy Spirit is what makes our faith family possible, vibrant, and essential.
Join us and discover your commitment to the Holy Spirit and the gospel, your generosity to share with others, and your new life found in Christ Jesus.
It is truly an honor to be your pastor and teacher.
Thank you and God bless you.
